Eligibility Criteria
Students who have successfully completed the NCC Education PgD BM and hold a 2nd class honours degree or better are eligible to apply for the University of Worcester MBA top-up course. Applicants will ideally need 2 years work experience.
Award Criteria
The course will make it possible for students to top-up the 120 credits from the NCC Education PgD BM to the 180 credits required for a full master's degree. The top-up will consist of one 20 M level credit Research Methods module and a 40 M level credit dissertation.
Masters Level Research
A Student undergoing Master level program gets an opportunity to travel to United Kingdom (University of Worcester) for the purpose of getting academic training from campus based university faculty and master the skills of Management research to specialize in a field such as Finance, Marketing, Operations and Human Resource.
The top-up course will be delivered in an intensive study block at the University of Worcester over a two week period. In the two weeks, students will attend a research methods class delivered by University of Worcester faculty. At the end of the two weeks, students will leave Worcester to work on the research methods assignment.
The supervisor will work with students as they complete their 10000 word dissertation 'at a distance'. The hand-in date of the dissertation will be around 9 months after the start of the course.
