About the Main Presenter

Prof. Navin Kapoor

Thirty five years ago an aspiring young professional, lured by the lore of Goa, convinced his guide to assign him the only available summer internship slot(s) available in Salgaocar and Chowgule group of Companies, the renowned corporate houses in Goa.

That set the ball rolling for his completion of MBA at IIM- Ahmedabad and PGD in applied sciences at IIT - Kharagpur and ever since there has been no looking back, entrancing en route various positions and fellowship, across varied fields and locations.

Well! What goes around comes around and so Prof. Navin Kapoor is back in Goa, laden with knowledge made visible by wisdom that he must unload driven by need to give back to Goa.

Mr. Souvik Banerjee

Mr. Souvik Banerjee is a PGDM (Finance) from K.J.Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research and currently is pursuing PhD from Vellore Institute of Technology. He is having a corporate experience with Wipro Limited, where he worked as Team Leader, backing his academic background and is an Assistant Professor at Local Management Institute in Goa.

Mr. Banerjee holds additional certifications CFA Institute USA and NCFM  and his interest in the areas of International Finance, Business Statistics and Project Finance  is reflected through his papers on:

  • BASEL 2 implementation & Indian banking system
  • Private Corporate Debt Market in India
  • Carbon Trading-how the business model works: Published in Fore School of Management’s Annual Management Journal.
